In a life drawing session you experience the anxiety, the risk, the vitality of working “live” and, in the act, you trigger a much wider range of possibilities and choices than working from photographs. 

You also experience certain failures, (it’s worth remembering: “live”!), until you realize some image that seems satisfactory to you. You see that each session is particular, unique, that each model is unique; with practice and time you discover your own way of working.
