Drawing a living model is something special.

You have, before your eyes, someone who also observes you and opposes you, another person; and this inhibits, demands from you a new way of attention. When you stand before someone to register his image, both the model and the artist take on another attitude, the first one to pose, to be an image, the second one to create an image, there at that moment with the instruments he has in hand, in that time and place.
